Rule of Three
I ran across this quote in a software testing article at Jonathan Kohl's blog.
Weinberg's "Rule of Three", which goes something like this: if you can't think of three ways a potential solution can fail, you don't completely understand the problem space.
Google found a couple other variations. cut for lengthCollapse ) So, that's three varations on the Rule of Three...appropriate, no?

I was searching for something to add to my RSS feed. If you need a good QA links collection, here you go. What is really good, they added 'Issue/Date:' field under every article, so you don't need to go through a lot of outdated stuff.

Just for fun, as it usually happens at testing resources, some links doesn't work. For example, http://www.logigear.com/resources/technology/others.asp

Quite a strange article..
They did not provide anything modern, also nothing about banks' security issues.

"40. Just google him. We hear it really ticks him off.
"F---ing Eric Schmidt is a f---ing pussy. I'm going to f---ing bury that guy, I have done it before and I will do it again. I'm going to f---ing kill Google."

-- Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, in response to the departure of Mark Lucovsky, a former Microsoft "distinguished engineer" who left last year to work at Google. The alleged aria, punctuated by the tossing of a chair, was cited in a sworn statement by Lucovsky that became public during court hearings over another Microsoft-to-Google defection in September. Microsoft denies Lucovsky's version of the incident.

funny bugs
Yesterday I was browsing amazon.com and found a test team under the sponsored links. Don't get me wrong, I'm always interested in competitors ;) Those also got a nice name. And you know, when I see a key, I usually press.
Go to http://www.testcrew.com/contact.html, do not fill any mandatory fields and press 'Submit'. Viola! Empty screen. IE 6.0. And that is a test team's website, no less.

India's Outsourcing
http://abcnews.go.com/International/story?id=1428299

Good news for QA testers in the USA.

"The labor shortage, however, is good news for foreigners. Disgruntled British and American workers who have seen their jobs outsourced to India could get them back".

I, however, don't believe that it's true. China is coming.
